Lovable, the AI app-building startup last valued at $6.6 billion, is looking for acquisitions as it tries to expand in an increasingly crowded market. CEO and Co-Founder Anton Osika said the company is seeking “more great teams and startups to join Lovable,” adding that many of the people in key roles at the company were founders before joining.
The push comes as Lovable continues to grow quickly. The company recently said it had reached $400 million in annual recurring revenue, up from $200 million at the end of 2025, and that more than 200,000 new projects are now created on the platform each day. Lovable told TechCrunch it is focused on “builder-first, high-agency teams,” especially people with founder and operator backgrounds who can move quickly and lead parts of the product internally.
Lovable is making the move while competing with tools such as Cursor, Replit, and Bolt, as well as the coding capabilities built into major AI models. The startup has already used acquisitions to build out its team, including its November purchase of cloud provider Molnett to strengthen its infrastructure capabilities.
