For any culinary connoisseur, The Crow’s Nest is a pilgrimage worth making. However, its walk-in only policy means your best bet is heading there early. Celine Valensi, one of the hosts at the restaurant, says they do have one person they make an exception for when it comes to reservations: Sir Paul McCartney. If you aren’t a Beatle, though, you may still be able to hang out in the stunning beach bar. Filled with excited patrons sipping through the list of Montauk beers, spirits, natural wines, and delectable cocktails, you might end up staying longer than you expected.

Once you’re in, everything from the vibrant energy of the staff to the bustling dining room makes this an unrivaled dining experience. A true escape from city life, The Crow’s Nest offers everything New York City dining has to offer — divine dishes, dizzying cocktails, and mouth-watering mains — but with a decidedly laid-back twist. You’ll find yourself surrounded by a buzzing and chic cosmopolitan crowd, but the surrounding beach brings a sense of calm that is simply inimitable.

The chef isn't at all afraid to get creative, and the risks taken undoubtedly pay off. The local lobster tagliatelle is served swimming in Calabrian chili butter and crunchy bread crumbs, while the day boat scallops are cooked to perfection with bright pops of saffron and zingy hints of lime and cilantro helping the seafood shine. Everything on the menu is thoughtfully created and beautifully presented, from the simplest of dishes (like the roasted carrots drenched in labneh and pops of pomegranates) to the spectacular showstoppers (like the Middle Eastern dessert, kataifi, which is served on a bed of mascarpone mousse surrounded by fresh figs).
