Elon Musk, born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971, has left an indelible mark on the business world, notably as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. His early ventures included creating a video game at the age of 12 and founding Zip2 in 1995, a company providing online city guides. Focused on making rocket launches more affordable, SpaceX achieved milestones like the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 rockets.
