Elon Musk, born in Pretoria, South Africa, in 1971, has left an indelible mark on the business world, notably as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX. A passion for technology and entrepreneurship drove Musk's migration from South Africa to the United States. His early ventures included creating a video game at the age of 12 and founding Zip2 in 1995, a company providing online city guides. After selling Zip2, Musk co-founded X.com, which later became PayPal, a significant player in online money transfers.

Musk's visionary pursuits extended to space exploration with the founding of SpaceX in 2002. Focused on making rocket launches more affordable, SpaceX achieved milestones like the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 rockets. The company is currently developing the Super Heavy-Starship system with the goal of enabling interplanetary travel and establishing bases on the Moon and Mars. Additionally, SpaceX is set to build the lunar lander for NASA's Artemis program.
